Wife of Warhawk Jerry Carroll

Patricia Kay (Jackson) Carroll, the love of his life, peacefully passed from the loving hands of her husband into the loving hands of her Lord and Savior on Monday evening, July 9, 2012, at 58 years of age.
She was born on Aug. 8, 1953, in Detroit, Mich. A 1971 graduate of Edmunds High School in Sumter, S.C., she received her BSN from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1975 and pursued a career as a registered nurse and dental assistant for many years.
She married the love of her life, Air Force Capt. Jerry Carroll, at the Peterson AFB chapel in Colorado Springs, Colo., on June 28, 1980. Raised in a military family, Pat lived extensively in Italy and Germany, spoke fluent Italian, and delighted in regaling one and all with an inexhaustible trove of stories from her worldwide adventures. Jerry and Pat have lived in the East Mountains for 16 years.
She is survived by her husband and two brothers, Mike of Cave Creek, Ariz., and Mark of Colorado Springs, Colo. A rosary and the Mass of the Resurrection were celebrated in her honor at the San Antonito Chapel in Sandia Park with internment in the chapel cemetery. Requiescas in Pace, beloved wife.
